20 Years of Experience
Established in 1999, Firefly Design is a boutique design agency located in the heart of the Flatiron district. We are a small Manhattan agency with big experience. We are responsive, affordable and reliable. Our determination to produce great work for you stems from our love and belief in our craft.

Sheila Cobb
Principal and Owner of Firefly Design + Communications Inc.
Sheila Cobb is the voice and visionary behind Firefly Design. As Creative Director, she has had a diverse career working for established boutique firms, eventually building her own impressive corporate clientele providing exceptional design service.
With more than 30 years of experience, Sheila’s extraordinary creative consulting skills and strategic problem-solving process have led to success on every project.
Sheila and the Firefly team constantly push creative boundaries. Her desire to foster an atmosphere of creativity and exploration is balanced by her very professional attitude. Sheila graduated with honors at the University of Cincinnati College of Design and has lived in New York since 1985.
Bob Kamp
Project Manager
Bob has extensive knowledge in the digital arena and has excellent communication skills when it comes to guiding clients through the complex digital world that is ever-changing. Bob Kamp received his BFA in Dance with a minor in Computer Science and Mathematics from Stephens College in Columbia, MO. He began working in the graphic design/pre-press industry in 1992. While working at Gorilla Graphics, Bob developed an extensive knowledge of pre-press, print production, graphic design software and computer operating systems.
He began to develop a freelance client base among several arts and entertainment magazines as well as graphic design studios, printers and small publishing companies.
In 1999, Bob founded I Can Do That Productions, Inc. and in 2000 and studied design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Bob’s organizational skills and comprehensive knowledge of design software, make the jobs flow smoothly for both the client and the vendor.
Christian Santiago
Designer
Christian is a Puerto Rican native whose love of the native culture and its colorful composition shines through in his work today. At Firefly Design, he lends his talent as a designer and illustrator.
He spent a year at Escuela de Artes Plasticas before moving on to New York City’s Bronx Community College and the New York City College of Technology, where he sharpened his technique both in the classroom and outside of it. A lover of street art and pop culture, Christian’s artistic style includes unique ways to incorporate vibrant colors with neutral ones to create new harmonies. Consistent with his philosophy that life is an ever-evolving process, so is his design process.
Rob Mayo
Fullstack Developer
Rob has always loved building. When he was a kid he’d take LEGO manuals and build sets for hours on end. Now he takes designs and translates them into fast, responsive, reliable products.
He studied English at Columbia University before pursuing a Master’s in Education at New York University. After transitioning from teaching to tech, he’s honed his skills in Fullstack developer at ClassLink and Firefly, bringing his passion for communication, collaboration and iteration wherever he goes.
